In Feb 2004, we started with an odd business plan in an obscure location – with second-hand furniture, a handful of followers, and boundless enthusiasm. And people showed up. In 16 years, somehow, we’re one of the longest running established venues in town. Who would’ve guessed? Me, for one. When you love what you do, you never work a day in your life. Authenticity, Community, and Adventurousness and a little Luck are all responsible.

We’ve always enjoyed changing things up. So what better time than Jan 1, 2020 to burn down our very own history, and rise from the ashes of our own ‘self-immolation’. Our original name evoked a wandering spirit, but Now, we’re Rooted and Not Going Anywhere, so Welcome back to the most Bizarre Bazaar of a Bar in Wilmington, NC. We are excited to outdo ourselves in presenting the Wildest, Innovative, Experimental, Upcoming, Genre-Bending, Obscure, Kooky and downright Entertaining events that we can make/find.- Plus a continually funky & evolving environment, and the epic selection of beverages, food and spirits you’ve come to expect.
